Write for the reader’s decision
A guide should answer a real question, distinguish general information from individual advice and identify useful next steps. It should not lead every reader to a residential admission, imply that one diagnosis determines one treatment setting, or turn a safety concern into a sales enquiry.
Source clinical statements carefully
Medical explanations should use authoritative public health guidance, clinical guidance or original research appropriate to the claim. Statistics need a source, population and date. Uncertainty and differences in practice should be explained rather than hidden. Medication-specific warnings require current, jurisdiction-appropriate sources.
Clinical review before publication
Medical treatment, medication and safety content requires review by a suitably qualified clinician with relevant experience. The reviewer must consider accuracy, scope, potentially misleading simplifications and urgent-care wording. No review badge, qualification, author biography or review date will be invented.

Verify provider descriptions
Record the actual programme, location and care level. Attribute service descriptions to the provider where appropriate and distinguish current verification from unanswered questions.
